The Happi Shirt


Originally made in 19th-century Scottish mills, the Oxford shirt is rich in sartorial legacy. We decided to reimagine this classic into a more casual interpretation. 

The British Isles meets Japan in the form of this reconstructed Oxford shirt. Using fabrics and pieces from several Oxfords, we reconstructed them into a shirt that looks to a Japanese kimono for certain design elements - the shortened sleeves,  and open front to name a few.
