The Superbad 501
We obsess over our search to find excess. Blue jeans are approximately 140 years old and were designed for utility and work, later becoming a staple in nearly every person's wardrobe. 1.2 billion pairs of denim are sold every year and are often discarded far before their expiration date.
Here, we have a selection of vintage 501s reconstructed with a gusset of mixed cotton fabrics. Each has been repaired and patched with contrast denim and feature colorful bartack stitching. The gusset gives the jean a more relaxed fit.
